I am Efren Alvarez; owner of Alvarez Appliance Repair and I started my appliance repair service in 2003. I was formally trained at Contra Costa College in Appliance Repair Technology right here in San Pablo, California, from 1994 to 1996. After graduation, I worked for Sears and gained valuable experience as a Sears Repair Technician from 1997 to 2003. I began my own business in 2003 with my wife and son. I love serving my neighbors and community by offering my services at a fair price and a friendly approach to all my customers.     Be sure they are plugged into a separate circuit and never operate near water.

  • What about my smaller appliances? How can I make them last longer?

    My simple rule is to unplug your smaller appliances when you are finished using them. This may seem counterintuitive, but it helps over time and you will save energy.

  • How do I know when I should stop using an appliance?

    If your appliance is damaged or stops working, call Alvarez Appliance Repair. We do not want you risking shock, burn, or fire for any reason. Hopefully we can troubleshoot with you over the phone before coming out for service.
